DH have a Windows CE version of their ‘Sensing Science’ software that seems every bit as functional as the PC version. All its analysis tools are there (there are just a few) and of course it collects the data from DH loggers and integrates with the experiment notes.
Windows CE machines (EG HP Jornada 700 series; Pocket PC) are just the thing in some science situations: they take up little space; are easy to carry from room to room; have good battery life. To get the DH logger working I used the serial connector that came with the Jornada and a gender changer (male to male serial connector – widely available) to connect it to the standard logger lead. Ask DH for the nitty gritty on other machines and download the booklet at www.data-harvest.co.uk
Today I learn that alexa.com ranks this site as 1,226,708 th most popular site on the web. I’m unsure as to who to thank for this position as seemingly it’s not a bad ranking. The link here ought to give todays position and if you want to know how popular other sites are, just substitute its address for mine in this URL Ranking info for: rogerfrost.com/ http://www.alexa.com/data/details?amzn_id=&url=www.rogerfrost.com
